Professor Dr. med. Rolf Winter is a well known expert in clinical and surgical ophthalmology.
He has been chief consultant and head of the Department of Ophthalmology at the eye clinic of the MHH since 1993.
Professor Winter is the inventor of several new, innovative treatments in the field of ocular microsurgery, and he and his team have developed new surgical strategies which today are the standard treatment in many facilities.
Professor Winter is an active member of numerous ophthalmologic societies.
